I tired HelloFresh, here is my review.

I tried the HelloFresh meal subscription box and here’s my review and why it has saved my sanity and my body. First off, a little about me and my family. I run an Etsy shop and am extremely busy. If you have browsed around my blog, you may also know that my husband is in the military and is often away from home. I do not cook if I am the only one eating and I frequently live off of cereal, string cheese and cinnamon toast. The struggle is REAL, y’all.
From dinner disaster to delightful dinner – I have been using Hello Fresh for about a month now and I have to tell you, I haven’t been to the grocery store once! The portion sizes are perfect and the recipes are something I could never come up with on my own. They’re delicious! As an amateur chef, I am SO excited that I signed up for this. They literally send you everything you’ll need in your recipe, down to the last drop of vinegar. Even the most novice cook could prepare these recipes.

Hello Fresh is simple, it’s like any other subscription box. You simply create an account, log in and start choosing your meals. The dashboard on their website is really easy to navigate, as well as the app for your phone. I personally use the app 99% of the time, it’s just that easy. Choose your delivery date and meals that you’d like included in your box, there’s about 8 recipes to choose from, so there is a good variety. The box is delivered with detailed instructions and minimal packaging/waste which is an added bonus!

  • There’s different plans to customize your needs for your family. (I go with the 3 meals for 2 people option. I often have left overs.) There’s also vegetarian options!
  • Pick your recipes each week from a variety of meals.
  • You can skip a meal week anytime with a quick click of a button on the website or app.
  • Hassle free, cancel anytime – no questions asked! I haven’t had to use their customer service much, but I did one time to help a friend and they were super nice.
